                       It is all a dream without money. The cars, the home, the clothes, the jewelry, all a dream. Without money, all you have is the stuff that matters. But to make things better, to live a fuller life, perhaps a happier life, you need money. It’s not enough to just need it or want it, you have to MAKE it. We usually don’t make much nowadays. People are becoming consumers, especially in the United States and other modernized industrial nations. People don’t create anymore. There was a time when creation drove the future. Those who are constantly dishing out money on those creations, I hope you have your money figured out at that point because perhaps instead of spending on those creations, you should be making money instead. Now I don’t mean the creations you need like the food, the gas and the water, and yes those are creations to make money in that they are brought to you by someone else that we all pay money for, unless you are the type that is completely self sustained which is not the topic for now. What I am referring to are the creations one doesn’t really need in life, the entertainment, hottest new thing or that oh so good dinner at that oh so expensive restaurant. One must learn to go without, in order to have for the future at times. Now if someone is the type of person that has excessively large bundles of money stashed away, perhaps income or making money is not of too much concern. However for most, a budget is never a bad idea, even for those who are fortunate enough to have an abundance of money. It is possible to make money to have all those creations that we all want. The cars, the clothes, the houses and more. But nothing in life is for free.

                        When we say “I am going to make some money today”, we take that to mean that we will work to make that money. It is ingrained in some people’s minds that work is equivalent to money and that would be a good thing to have instilled in you. However, it is a sin to trade one’s life working away for this money in place of spending time on yourself or your loved ones. Perhaps not a sin, but a mistake nevertheless. How do we do it? How do we strike the balance? You either work all the time and have money, or you don’t work and have no money coming in. What do you do? Be a movie star? Win the lottery a couple of times?                          Money, for the most part is paper, or numbers in some database, it truly is not tangible. Money is more an agreement between us and our government that gives power to a piece of paper or nowadays what is sometimes digital code. That is all money is, it is apart of our society used to hold value which is in turn traded for goods and services. If you provide goods and services, you will receive money for those goods and services. What are you good at? What do you enjoy doing? Believe it or not, YOU CAN MAKE MONEY DOING SOMETHING YOU LOVE. Many people make choices in life. Some people decide to do something they hate for money, usually that doesn’t work out for long. Some people are blessed with doing something they love for money, many times those people succeed in their careers and have happy lives, or some times they succeed in their careers and have crappy lives, its the whole picture I guess. The point is, money isn’t always mining away in a coal mine or cutting down trees, money can quite often be made while sitting around doing minimal labor, or using the creativity of one’s mind to sell ideas or products on the internet. No one here is saying this is all super easy and there is no effort required. But what I am saying is in the present time with the advent of the internet and smartphones, money can be made while being in practically any location.
